New babies will be released into the National Forest and woods in local areas, these babies will leave home at 10 weeks...You really can't tell but take your thumb and look at it...its the size of these babies. Quail is almost gone here in Virginia, due to the enviroment. Tearing forest for housing, and businesses, which gets rid of some bugs, worms Quail, and other birds. So far there has been 259 hatched out. Wouldn't you like to take a walk in the woods and here the faint call ......"BOB WHITE....BOB WHITE". I would!
